This chair piece was produced as practice for modeling items that can be seen and manipulated physically in real life.
Software Used: Blender, Rhino
Project Duration: 3 weeks
Inspired by some of the furniture in my grandparents' garden room, this piece became a tribute to them and their style.
The flowers were modeled in Grasshopper using graphs and multiplier inputs to control points in space and the chair was modeled in Blender.
Products can be treated as art and these beautified products add value to the spaces we see as mundane and typical. This piece allowed for the expression of some creativity and in conjunction with a real object that could be used in day to day life.
